IDEA’s one-task devices are the essence of our modular technology performing several tasks such as
stirring/mixing, sensor integration, gas/liquid handling, pumping, light control for photo-bioreactors, temperature control. Some devices can be “stand-alone” whereas others need to be integrated into an equipment (at least one Industrial Grade PC, IGPC). Just click on the device and see what task can perform.

IDEA's Bioprocess systems merge and integrate:
- a new concept of bioprocess vessel, made of glass and high performance thermoplastic materials for a universal chemical resistance (acid/base/salinity) & an easier manufacturing and customization, with
- modular control hardware & software to implement only the necessary functions and
- advance automation solutions tailored to the user needs.
Our systems universally adapt to several applications (e.g., cell culture, microbial fermentation, photo-bioreactions, environmental biotechnological processes, …) and needs, being able to be shaped according to custom configurations.
WE can supply systems as simple as a vessel + mixer or complex configuration starting from one of our bioprocess line:
- IdeaStation - an automated bioreaction station with simple configured vessels (2-10 units, volume 100 to 500 mL) for parallel/in series reactions.
- IdeaBio - a bioreaction/fermentation system tailored for microbial or cell culture applications (volumes from 500mL to 10 L).
- IdeaPhoto - a photo-bioreaction system for microalgae and other photo-bioprocesses (volumes from 100 mL to 5 L).
- IdeaDigest - a digestion system for biogas related applications (volumes from 2 to 5 L).

IdeaPhoto is a completely configurable photo-bioprocess system for the study and cultivation of microalgae (photoautotrophs, heterotrophs, mixotrophs conditions), Purple bacteria, Cianobacteria and more. With volumes from 500 mL to 10 L two configurations are available:
- BASE - glass vessel with integrated led element and stirring equipment according to different combinations of vessel/mixer/light source;
- CUSTOM - BASE version + all the hardware/software/automation the user needs (e.g., pumps, sensors, controls, multiple units in parallel / in series).
