IDEA's Control Unit can be connected to in-house produced measurement devices IDEAFLOW (biologic off-gas flowrate meas. device) and NIR smart pump (biomass concentration meas. device, image shown above) and any third-party sensors for liquids (flow, pH, ORP, DO, CO2 liquid, conduttivity, pressure, biomass) and gases (pressure, flow, O2, CH4, CO2).
Specific sensor configuration can be arranged in a simple way, for example pressure sensor to measure TMP (TransMembrane Pressure) in MBRs (Membrane BioReactors).

IDEAFLOW is an innovative and unique measuring device for small gas flow rates originated from a bioproces. It is a volumetric measuring device and not only presents the typical PROs of a volumetric method over manometric devices (low overpressure, conditions similar to full scale applications, no problems of CO2 solubilisation) but also several advantages compared with other volumetric devices in the market: it is the only system without a mechanical / electromechanical mechanism for the gas discharge, it is a special hydraulic system with no obstructions to the gas outlet (Extreme Safety) and no maintenance needs.
It is perfect for the following applications: BIOGAS and anaerobic digestion (BMP, BHP, ATAs), fermentations, anammox and denitrification, rumen activity, yeast activity and dough rising, beer/wine production, human/monogastric digestion, etc.
