The Human GastroIntestinal Simulator (HGIS-SIMULATOR) is a dynamic in-vitro model of the gastrointestinal tract. It consists of five reactors (pH and Temperature controlled) which sequentially simulate the stomach, the small intestine (digestive processes) and the 3 regions of the large intestine (ascending, transverse and descending colon). It is the choice for studying physicochemical, enzymatic and microbial parameters in the gastrointestinal tract. Ask for more information.
